Obituary of Patricia (Reicker) (Weaver) Loughery

Loughery, Patricia Ruth (Reicker) (Weaver) Passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 08, 2012 at Bobby’s Hospice, surrounded by her loving family. Born on October 23, 1936 in Saint John. She was the daughter of the late Pratt and Margaret (Black) Reicker. Patricia enjoyed her Tuesday Seniors’ Group and really enjoyed socializing with her friends. She was employed with NB Tel for 30 years and was a member of the NB Tel Pioneers. She was a devoted mother and grandmother and is survived by her sons, Christopher Weaver (Angela Megaw), of Saint John and Michael (Cathy) Weaver, of Saint John; stepson, Troy (Lisa) Loughery, of Quispamsis; daughter, Patti (Brian) Phinney, of Saint John; step-daughters, Carmen (Michael) Gallagher, of Quispamsis and Gail (Shawn) Lynch, of Calgary; brother, Douglas Reicker, of Saint John; seven grandchildren, Tabitha, Christopher, Andrew, Emily, Kara, Patrick and Laura; three step-grandchildren, Andrew, Colin and Alex ; three great-grandchildren, Logan, Aiden and Lucas and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Bill Loughery; son, Ricky Weaver; daughter, Kelly Weaver and sister, Margaret Ann Simmonds. Resting at Castle Funeral Home, “Fallsview Chapel”, 309 Lancaster Avenue, Saint John West (634-1701) visitation will take place on Sunday, November 11, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, November 12, 2012 at 12:00 p.m. from Our Lady of the Assumption Church. A reception will be held at the Fallsview Family Reception Center. Interment at Cedar Hill Ext. will take place at a later date. Donations, in memory of Patricia, may be made to Bobby’s Hospice.
