Obituary of Jessie Morgan
Miss Jessie Morgan passed away peacefully on April 3, 2012 at home at the age of 102 surrounded by her family. Born at Johnson’s Croft on October 27, 1909 where she continued to live her entire life. She was the daughter of the late Robert J. and Fannie (Hamilton) Morgan. Jessie was a life time member of the NB Women’s Institute. Jessie is survived by her nephews Robert (Carolyn) Morgan, Philip (Jean) Morgan of Central Greenwich, Ronald (Carolyn) Morgan, niece Phylliss Morgan of Saint John, Joyce Morgan of Brown’s Flat and several great and great great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters Eliza and Grace Morgan, brothers Harold, Gordon, George (E Bernice) and Alfred Morgan, nephew Donald Morgan, great niece Brenda Galliah and great great nephew Jason Dain. Resting at Castle “Fallsview” Funeral Home 309 Lancaster Ave. Saint John West (634-1701) with visiting on Thursday, April 5, 2012 from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday, April 6, 2012 from 2 to 4, and 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 7, 2012 at 1 p.m. at St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Oak Point. The interment will follow at St. James Cemetery, Brown’s Flat, and a reception at Greenwich Recreation Center at Browns Flat. Donations in Jessie’s name may be made to Extra Mural, St. James Cemetery Fund, or the charity of the donor’s choice.
