Obituary of Allen John Pilmer
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved brother, Allen John Pilmer, who passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by family and friends on March 10, 2017. Allen was predeceased by his parents; Elizabeth and John Pilmer, brother; Wilfred Pilmer, and infant brother Allen J. Pilmer. Allen is survived by his brother Rodney Pilmer, sisters; Linda Pilmer, Anna Pilmer, and Carolyn Aubie (Danny), sister-in-law Wendy Pilmer (Wilfred), nephews; Adam Pilmer (Vanessa) and Joey Pilmer (Sonja), nieces Nicole Killam (Robert) and Shawndelle McPhee (Brad) and beloved pets Andy and Simon. Arrangements are under the care of Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave, Saint John (634-1701). Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 12, 2017 from 2:00pm – 4:00pm and 7:00pm to 9:00pm at Castle Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will take place on Monday, March 13, 2017 from Castle “Fallsview” Chapel at 1:00pm followed by a reception at Castle “Fallsview” reception center. Interment will take place in Chipman Cemetery in the Spring of 2017. Donations in Allen’s memory can be made to the Kidney Foundation or charity of one’s choice.
