Obituary of Walter VanTassel

VanTassel, Walter – Passed away peacefully in the Saint John Regional Hospital, at the age of 98. “Van” was born in Digby, N.S. He was predeceased by his wife Mildred (née Muir) and his siblings. He will be lovingly remembered by his daughter Heather and many nieces and nephews. Resting at Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave, Saint John (634-1701). Visitation will be held on Thursday August 25, 2016 from 2:00 – 4:00 pm & 6:00 – 8:00 pm. A Funeral Service will take place on Friday August 26, 2016 at 11:00 am from Castle Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations in Walter’s memory can be made to Canadian Diabetes Association, Cerebral Palsy Foundation Inc.
