Obituary of Sharon Gauthier
The death of Sharon Lynda Gauthier, loving wife and soul mate of Fidel J. Gauthier occurred on December 25, 2011 at The Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John on December 5, 1948, she was the daughter of the late John and Frances (Saulnier) Doucette. She is also survived by her daughters Wanda (Mark) Rettinger of Fredericton, Paula Gauthier of Strathmore, Alberta; son Gerald of Saint John; grandchildren Anthony Rettinger, Kyle Ouellette, Jessica Rice, Max Gauthier, Sophia Gauthier; brothers Ron (Anne) Doucette of Saint John, Joe (Lynn) Doucette of Saint John, W.O. David Doucette of P.E.I. She will also be missed by her little dog, Pepper Anne, as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Sharon was predeceased by her brother John Doucette. She was born and raised in Saint John west where she also raised her family. She worked at Sears in the furniture department for 30 years until her retirement in 2008. Resting at Castle “Fallsview” Funeral Home 309 Lancaster Ave. Saint John West (634-1701) with visiting on Tuesday, December 27, 2011 from 2-4, and 7-9 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of the Assumption. Donations in Sharon’s name may be made to the New Brunswick Lung Association.
