Obituary of David Walsh

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden death of David Paul Walsh on November 2, 2011. Born on November 13, 1958, he was the son of the late Andrew and Helen (Farrell) Walsh. David is survived by his loving wife Linda; son David and daughter Jennifer both at home. David is also survived by his brother John (Bev) Walsh, sisters Andra Mabee (Will), Janie (Ken) McPherson, and brother in law Ralph Mowery. David will also be remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. David was also predeceased by his sister Judy Mowery. David was a "west-sider" his whole life and was well known for his kind, quiet, and generous manner; he touched many lives. He was a proud member of Our Lady of Assumption Church, and was employed by Sears Canada in Saint John. Cremation has taken place and visiting will be held at Castle “Fallsview” Funeral Home 309 Lancaster Ave. Saint John West (634-1701) on Sunday November 6, 2011 from 2-4, and 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, November, 7, 2011 at 12 noon at Our Lady of the Assumption. The interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, and reception at the Assumption Centre. Donations in David's memory may be to Romero House, The Canadian Cancer Society, or the charity of one's choice.
