Obituary of Harry Moldovan

It is with sadness, the family announces the passing of Harry Moldovan, Husband of the late Bernice (Gearey) on September 16, 2013 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Montreal, Quebec on May 20, 1928, he was the son of the late Michael and Yvonne (Bernier) Moldovan. Harry work at CP Rail until his retirement in 1986. An avid golfer and bowler, his long retirement allowed him to travel home to Quebec and to the many parts of New England that he enjoyed so much. His greatest joy was spending time with his family, particularly his wonderful great grand-daughters. Harry is survived by his daughters, Valerie (Stewart) Gilbert of Grand Bay Westfield, and Leslie (Mark) Singer of Halifax; his grandchildren Sarah Gilbert (Josh) Hennessey, Laura (Michael) Dort, and Ryan Gilbert; great grand-daughters Emma, Ella, Katelyn and Molly; and his sisters Dora, Yvonne, Beatrice, Hazel, Jean and Joan; as well as many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife Bernice, brothers Peter and Michael and sister Helen. Respecting Harry’s wishes, there will be no visitation and a private family service will be held on Friday, September 20, 2013.
