Obituary of EMMA BONNEVIE
Bonnevie Emma After a period of failing health, Emma Bonnevie passed away peacefully, on Friday, November 27, 2015, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in St. Agnace Kent Co., she was a daughter of the late Fidel and Marie (Richard) Richard, and widow of the late Marcel Joseph Bonnevie.Emma was a dedicated housewife, a loving caring person with a beautiful heart and soul who raised 4 children and loved to spend time with her wonderful grandchildren. She was a long time member of Our Lady of Assumption Church. Emma was an avid knitter who made and donated mittons and hats to the Empty Stocking Fund every year. She also loved cats, especially her cat named Trouble.She is survived by three sons, Gerald Bonnevie, of Saint John, Robert (Judy) Bonnevie, of Rothesay, Donald (Lise) Bonnevie, of Saint John, one daughter, Geraldine (Arthur) Fillmore, of Saint John, one brother, Joseph (Yvonne) Richard, of St. Agnace, six grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephewsEmma was predeceased by her parents, her husband Marcel, one brother, Armand Richard, and her sister Regina.Resting at Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave., Saint John, N.B (634 1701). Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 29, 2015 from 7 to 9pm, and Monday, November 30, 2015 from 2to 4 pm and 7 to9pm. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at Our Lady of Assumption Church at 12 o'clock. Interment will take place in Holy Cross Cemetery. Donations to the N.B. Heart and Stroke foundation would be appreciated by the family.
