Obituary of Robert Doull
The death of Robert B. Doull of Saint John, NB occurred at the Loch Lomond Villa on Dec. 17th, 2011. Survived by his wife Dawn Marie Doull (McEachern) of 47 years. Bob was born in Moncton, NB on August 7th, 1927, he was the eldest son to the late Budd Doull and Mary Doull (Dunham). He worked for Northern Electric for 32 years, also Union Electric, Saint John and Summit Electric, Sussex before retiring. He was a past member of the Moncton Flying Club, Carleton Curling Club and past Commodore of the Saint John Power Boat Club. He is survived by his daughter Debbie Tempelmeyer (Gene) of Mississauga, son Robin Doull (Janice) of Sussex, and daughter Jackie Keleher (Terry) of Saint John; one sister Joyce Murphy of Moncton; six grandchildren Michael (Candace), Andrea, Gary, Blair, Kaitlyn, Christopher and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by infant granddaughter Bronwyn Tempelmeyer, brother Don Doull of Nfld. and sister Shirley McRae of Moncton. Bob was an avid outdoorsman; he loved fishing, boating, carpentry and spending time with his spaniels. Special thanks to the staff of Dogwood Lane for their excellent care and kindness to Bob. Arrangements entrusted to Castle “Fallsview” Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Avenue, Saint John, NB 634-1701. The family will be pleased to receive visitors at a reception at the Fallsview family Reception Centre on Tuesday Dec. 20th from 4-7 pm. As per Bob’s request there will be no visitation or public service. Private family internment to take place. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Loch Lomond Villa Foundation or donor’s choice.
