Sorry to hear of Audrey's passing, I hadn't heard until now.Audrey was my mothers (Muriel McCumber Brown) cousin.The only one on her mothers side of the family I ever new.Audrey and Don used to come out to Fairfield and visit.After my mother died in 2004 I brought Audrey out to visitmy dad (Gordon Brown) a few times from her west side home.She was a delightful lady and will be fondly remembered.
I am so sorry to hear of Audrey's passing. Both she and Don were my next door neighbours until I graduated from high school and moved away. I was always welcome in their home and they "adopted" me as their own and always welcomed me in their home. Audrey loved her garden in the front of the house and could be found there til the snow flew. She had so much compassion for me and my family and deeply impacted me in ways no one, including her probably know. I know she loved me as did I her. My condolences to the family and heart felt thanks for sharing such a wonderful woman with us, the neighbourhood kids.
R.I.P. Audrey. I was one of those neighborhood kids. Spent many hours in the 1980's talking to Audrey while she gardened and many days shovelling her driveway in the winter. She was a beautiful person! Condolences.
Dear Hazel and DebbieWe were so sorry to hear that Audrey passed away. She was blessed to have you both with her while she made her journey to heaven. Audrey always had a smile and a how do you do to everyone she met.Audrey's face would just beam when you talked about Her sister in law Hazel and niece Debbie.She loved to hear about Lancaster Street and Charlotte Street.
