Obituary of Margaret Kingston

Kingston, Margaret Elizabeth (Vair) Passed away at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Monday, May 16, 2011. She was the daughter of the late Milbey and Priscilla (Harris) Vair, wife of the late William (Bill) Kingston. In her earlier years Margaret was a member of the Canadian Air Force until her marriage. She loved gardening, birdwatching, reading and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and new great grandchildren. She missed going to her Thursday morning Bowling League (The Ding-a-lings), due to health reasons. She will be lovingly remembered by her son, Larry (Gail) Kingston; daughters, Linda and Wanda Kingston; brother, George (Carol) Vair; sister, Dorothy (Bob) Lantz, of Mahone Bay, NS; grandchildren, Paige (Trever) Thibodeau and Marisa Kingston; great grandchildren, Alexis and Peyton Thibodeau and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her son, Ross Kingston. Resting at Castle Funeral Home, “Fallsview Chapel”, 309 Lancaster Ave., Saint John West (634-1701) In honoring Margaret’s wishes, there will be no visitation. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, May 19, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. from St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. Interment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery. Donations, in memory of Margaret, may be made to Bobby’s Hope House, IWK, or the NB Lung Association.
