Obituary of Walter D. Prosser

Surrounded by his family Walter Daniel Prosser passed away peacefully on Sunday September 4, 2016 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born October 8, 1953 he was the son of the late Daniel and Irene (Patterson) Prosser. Walter will be sadly missed by daughters Shelly Dwyer of Saint John, NB, Heather (Doug) Clements of Welsford, NB; sons Sean (Samantha) Prosser of Welsford, NB and Josh (Jazmine) Vautour of Ottawa, ON; brother Peter (Cheryl) Douthwright of Quispamsis, NB; grandchildren Branden, Zoe, Tyler, Fiona, Oliver and Asher. Besides his parents Walter was predeceased by his wife Mary McAuley, granddaughter Stefanie and 1 brother. Arrangements are under the care of Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave, Saint John (634-1701). Following cremation, visitation will be held on Wednesday September 7, 2016 from 7:00 – 9:00pm. A Celebration of Walter’s life will be held from Castle Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday September 8, 2016 at 1:00pm. Donations in Walter’s memory can be made to the NB Lung Association.
