Obituary of Edward "Magoo" Cobham
Surrounded by his family Edward “Magoo” Cobham passed away peacefully on Monday May 9, 2016 at Bobby’s Hospice. Born November 10, 1940 he was the son of the late Frank Cobham. Edward worked at the port of Saint John as a longshoreman for over 40 years with ILA Local 273. In his early years he and Elizabeth loved trailering, camping and fishing on Deer Island. In the last 30 years Eddie and Elizabeth camped at Round Lake. He will be sadly missed by loving wife of 54 years Elizabeth Keeble; sons Gordon (Callie), Carl (Amy), Ryan; daughter Susan (Jack) Hamilton; brothers Wesley (Patsi), Tommy (Pauline), Donnie (Helen); sisters Norma Justson, Jo-Anne (Bernie) Krall, Barbara Ferron, Patsy (Ossie) Guimond; grandchildren Tiffany, Matthew, Samantha, Braydon, Carter; great grandchild Brandon; several nieces and nephews; two aunts. Besides his father Edward was predeceased by twin brother Albert and sister Pamela. Arrangements are under the care of Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave, Saint John (634-1701). Visitation will be held on Thursday May 12, 2016 from 3:00 – 8:00 pm. A Memorial Service will take place on Friday May 13, 2016 at 11:00 am from Castle Funeral Home Chapel. Reception will follow at the Fallsview Reception Center. Donations in Edward’s memory can be made to Bobby’s Hospice.
