To Al's Family: Want to express my sympathy and condolences to you all at this difficult time. Al was working at the 'old jail' when I started there as a casual 1980, and then moved out to SJRCC, and when I left in 1990, and Al was still plugging away. Al was my partner for awhile, and he also took care of us all on shift, cooking a great meal on the midnight shift. His laugh and his jokes could be counted on to get us through a shift. He was one of the best people that a 'rookie' could have, from the old jail to the SJRCC. Although it's difficult today to see beyond the sorrow, and may your memories help comfort you tomorrow, and as times passes, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.
