Obituary of Yvonne Mary LeBlanc
Mrs. Yvonne Mary LeBlanc, wife of the late Lionel Joseph LeBlanc, passed away peacefully on Feb. 15, 2015 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John on Dec. 5, 1925, she was a daughter of the late Laurent and Aurelie (Guimond) Vautour. Yvonne is survived by 12 children; Geraldine LeBlanc of Calgary AB, Dave (Diane) of Qualicum Beach BC, Judy (Mike) MacKay of Edmonton AB, Ralph (Theresa) of Saint John NB, Mary Anne LeBlanc of Saint John NB, Marcella (Steven) Milligan of Waverly NS, Connie (Walid) Haddad, Victoria BC, Rose (Joe) Camier of Calgary AB, Beth (Larry) Wilson of Windsor Junction NS, Karen (Brent) Bethune of Hampton NB, Angela (Randy) Harper of Moncton NB and Janet Kempster of Quispamsis NB. Also survived by one brother, Alfred Vautour of Saint John, 30 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband Lionel Joseph LeBlanc (2008); 2 infant children; Joseph and Theresa; 4 brothers; Julien, Lawrence, Albenie and Norman; 3 sisters; Delima LeMoine, Bertha Dunn and Imelda White. Visitation will be held on Thurs, Feb. 19 from 4-9pm and Fri, Feb. 20 from 2-9pm at Castle Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday, Feb. 21, 2015 at 10am at St. Rose of Lima Church. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. Donations made to the charity of the donor’s choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
