Obituary of Royden VanWart

VanWart, Royden Fenton Albert The death of Mr. Royden Fenton Albert VanWart occurred unexpectedly on Thursday, May 26, 2011. Born on July 21, 1941 in Norton, he was the son of the late Thomas and Marion (Pitt) Mersereau. Roy was a member of the 8th Hussar’s, M. Wayne Moore Contractors and a member of the Carleton Union Masonic Lodge #8. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family and will be lovingly remembered by his sons, Royden VanWart (Laura), Jason Melvin (Penni), both of Saint John; daughters, Amanda Sherman (Jason), of Nova Scotia and Angela Melvin (Brian), of Saint John; 7 grandchildren and his companion, Donna Craig. Resting at Castle Funeral Home, “Fallsview Chapel”, 309 Lancaster Ave., Saint John West (634-1701). Visitation will take place on Sunday, May 29, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., with a Masonic Service at 7pm. Interment will take place at the All Saints Cemetery in Kingston.
