Obituary of Linda Estabrooks
Linda Estabrooks passed away at the Saint John Regional Hospital on January 19, 2011 surrounded by her close family. Born in Saint John on May 22, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Eugenia (Frenette) and Willis Green. A life-long resident of Saint John West, Linda was a very dedicated teacher and taught for 35 years at St. Patrick's School, retiring in 2003. Linda had a strong commitment to her family and enjoyed spending time at her son's baseball games and playing cards with family and friends. Linda is survived by her husband Peter, two children, Katherine (Mark) Barnes and Stephen (Julie) Estabrooks, and two special grandsons Thomas and William, all of Saint John; her brother Maurice Green of Ajax, ON and her sister Joan (Harry) Moore of Saint John. Linda was predeceased by her sister May Thompson of BC. Resting at Castle “Fallsview” Funeral Home 309 Lancaster Ave. Saint John West (634-1701) with visiting on Friday January 21, 2 - 4 p.m. and 7 – 9 p.m. The Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, January 22 at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of the Assumption, 360 Dufferin Row, with interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances in Linda's name may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
