Obituary of Thomas "DoDo" LeBlanc
LeBlanc, Thomas “DoDo” Edmund Resident of Prince of Wales, NB most of his life passed away unexpectedly on Friday, November 18, 2011. Tom was the son of the late Mary Helen (Doucette) and Thomas Patrick LeBlanc. Tom is survived by his wife, Verna (Vautour); 4 sons, Mark (Doris), Luke (Barbie), Carl (his family), Keith (Brenda); daughter, Kerrie Graves (Stephen McKinnon);2 sisters, Doreen Elliott and Mary Guthrie; 2 brothers, Paul LeBlanc (Mildred) and Arthur LeBlanc (Marjorie); 4 granddaughters, Genevieve, Shawna, Shelby and Jesse; 4 grandsons, Lukie, Thomas, Brodie and Chase and great grandson, Aidan. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his two brothers, Alvery and Walter. Before his retirement, Tom was a Longshoreman and a Commercial Fisherman, fishing salmon and lobster. Nothing made him happier than to be out in the Bay of Fundy fishing. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends. Resting at Castle Funeral Home, “Fallsview Chapel”, 309 Lancaster Avenue, Saint John West, (634-1701) visitation will take place on Tuesday, November 22, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at 12:00 p.m. from Our Lady of the Assumption Church. Interment to take place at Holy Cross Cemetery at a later date. A reception will be held at the Fallsview Family Reception Center, following the service. Donations, in memory of Thomas, may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, IWK or a charity of the donor’s choice.
