It's hard to put into words how much Anne-Marie meant to me. I first met her many many years ago when she first opened House of Tara and over the years we met often (usually on the street) and had the most wonderful discussions about life, politics, Ireland, politics, family, politics, dogs, politics.........you see where I'm going here. I loved the passion she had for everything, especially for politics and Ireland. She had a heart as big as all outdoors and she showed it in her kindness that she extended to everyone she met. The world was a better place because of her and to say that she will be missed is an understatement. May the good Lord wrap his loving arms around her and may we all take comfort in the knowledge that she is in a far better place now.

I, like many, met Anne-Marie on Germain Street, walking her fur babies as I walked from my car to work. She always had a smile on her face and kind words. My heartfelt sympathy and condolences go to the family of Anne-Marie. Such a wonderful lady, who was loved by many .... friends and family alike. My prayers and thoughts are with each and every one of you at this difficult time.

I was so sad to learn of Anne Marie's illness and then her passing. She was a nice/beautiful person with an infectious smile. I got to know Anne Marie over the years - along with Bella, Sydney and Crosby - from the day I came into the office for work and parked in the South End. I would hope those mornings that I was in, as I walked up Germain Street to see Anne Marie out walking with Crosby or with Bella and Sydney. Due to her fall and shoulder issue I didn't get to see her as much and then when we couldn't park in the South End that changed it also. I got my dog Lily a few years back and Anne Marie would always ask about her. I happen to be in the city one Saturday with my Lily and stopped in so Anne Marie could meet her but no one was home except for the dogs barking in the window! I have talked about Anne Marie and her dogs over the years. My deepest condolences to Ernie who I have chatted with over the years sitting on the steps when I was on my back to my car after work and all of Anne Marie's family. - Martha from Hampton.
