Obituary of Annie Stackhouse

It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Annie M. Stackhouse which occurred on Sunday August 21, 2016 at Kingsway Care Center. Born February 26, 1919 she was the daughter of the late Michael and Ellen Raeburn she was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Annie will be sadly missed by daughter Lois Tapley of Kamloops, BC; sons Victor Stackhouse of Seaforth, ON, Gil Stackhouse and Steven Stackhouse both of Sussex, NB; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Besides her parents Annie was predeceased by husband Charles Victor Stackhouse as well as 5 brothers.The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of Kingsway Care Center for their excellent care given to our mother during her stay.Resting at Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave, Saint John (634-1701). Visitation will be held on Tuesday August 23, 2016 10:00 am – 12:00noon. A Funeral Service will be held from Castle Funeral Home Chapel at 12noon. Interment will follow at Ocean View Memorial Gardens. Donations in Annie’s memory can be made to the charity of one’s choice.
