Obituary of Francine MacNeil
The death of Francine Joanne (Arsenault) MacNeil, loving wife of Stephen MacNeil, occurred on September 9, 2011 at Bobby’s Hope Hospice. Born in Moncton on January 31, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Antoine and Ida (Gautreau) Arsenault. She is survived by her 3 daughters Christina (Scott) Stevens of Niagara Falls Ont., Kim (James) Vienneau of Rothesay, and Angela MacNeil of Saint John; 3 grandchildren Emily, Joshua, and Cooper; 8 siblings Cécile (Jean-Paul) Gallant, Pauline (Normand) Mallet, Linda Arsenault, Jeanne Martin, Bernie (Sylvia) Arsenault, Ronald (Jeannine) Arsenault, Angela (Olivier) Boudreau, and Joseph (Janet) Arsenault. Francine will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Francine was also predeceased by 5 siblings Lorraine Brownell, Jean Robert Arsenault, Roger Arsenault, Muriael Arsenault, and Paul Arsenault. By request, there will be no visiting at the funeral home. The family will receive visitors at Our Lady of the Assumption Church from 11 am until 12 noon on Tuesday September 13, 2011. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 12 noon at Our Lady of the Assumption. Interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery with a reception at the Fallsview Family Reception Centre. The family would like to thank Richard and Flo McGinnis as well as the staff at Bobby's Hope Hospice for the love and compassion shown to Mom during her stay. Donations in Francine's memory may be made to Bobby's Hope Hospice or the charity of one's choice.
