Obituary of Raymond Beale
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Raymond Richard Beale, husband of Emma (Foldi) Beale. Born on April 15, 1938 at North Head Grand Manan to Roy Albert and Margaret Mary (Shannon) Beale. Ray grew up in the North End and attended St. Peter’s and Saint John Vocational School. He retired as Sergeant from the City of Saint John Police Department. Raymond is survived by his loving wife and best friend, Emma (Foldi) Beale. Besides his wife, he will be sadly missed by his daughter, Barbara (Murray) McCavour and their children, Melissa (Steven) DeLuca, Sarah McCavour (Josh), Laura McCavour; son, Paul (Betty) Beale and their children, Marlee and Nicholas Beale; step son, Leslie (Allyson) Belyea and their children, Samuel, Emma, Ethan Belyea… The joy of his life were his grandchildren. Raymond is survived by his brother, Douglas (Doreen) Beale and their children, Cathy Beale (Michael), Brian Beale (Katherine), Heather(Wayne) King along with Raymond’s sister, Marcella Osborne and her daughter, Sherry (Roger) Dumont. His mother-in-law Maria Kecskes and Uncle Edward Shannon; nieces and nephews, Kevin, Michelle and Shawn Cormier; brothers-in-law, Stephen Foldi (Sue), Les Foldi (Jennifer), Joe Foldi, Pascal Thibeau; sister-in-law, Lisa Speight (Greg). Raymond was predeceased by his parents, sister, Sandra (Cormier) Thibeau; brother-in-law, Joseph Osborne, his father-in-law Charles Kecskes; his grandson, Jacob Daniel Belyea. Arrangements are entrusted to Castle “Fallsview” Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave, Saint John West, (634-1701). Visitation will take place on Friday, August 17, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, August 18, 2012 at 10a.m. from Our Lady of the Assumption Church. Interment will take place in the Holy Cross Cemetery. At the family’s request due to allergies, no flowers would be appreciated. Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
