Im sorry i couldnt be there. I desperately wanted too. I just wanted to say i know we all miss nana so very much but she is now not suffering from that illness and all the memories will forever be in my heart. Nana use to ride bikes, go on walks with me and my brothers. And most of all she use to watch movies and talk to me and play our favourite game. Penny game. I loved it and i miss all those things we did together. I know it must be very hard for all her kids but just remember she is watching every one of you guys. I know nana had red hair and my first son was born woth red hair and he still has it and its a beautiful thing. R.i.p nana we are always thinking of u .

I am so sorry to hear of Aunt Maxine's passing. I remember her visits with Mom and the drives we took. They both liked to go to the Harbour and to the Beach Road to look out at the harbour reminiscing. I'll remember them both that way. With love and sadness, Geraldine.

Our deepest sympathy to the family and friends of Maxine Allaby. It was good to see Maxine in Saint John again after so many years when our family moved back to Saint John 3 years ago. But now it's sad to hear that she has passed on this week. The memories of Percy, Maxine, and all my cousins were all very good. There was never a dull moment when we had visits by their family. Percy and Maxine were very hospitable and often shared experiences about the road trips they had between BC and NB. Maxine will surely be missed by all.Glen, Kay, & Hannah Allaby and Allie

What can I say about Nana. Except that she loved each of us so completely that we all felt like we were the only ones. Her smile lit up the room, her laugh such a beautiful sound. The pennies she would travel all over for , the teddy bears that were always in her suit case or lap. The love she showered each of our kids with. The phone calls, man those calls ..where mid sentence she would just hang up because she did not believe in good byes. Those molasses sandwiches we can't eat and not think of her, the bowls of cream corn for lunch. Living with her as a teen was an incredible experience.. All those talks & trinkets and of course staying up late every night watching Bonanza with little joe & Hoss. Man did we have fun just being together. That was the thing about her quiet spirit.. You never had to do anything, just being with her was always enough. She was such a selfless woman. She loved to travel & she never complained about anything. Not what we had to eat or where she slept as long as she had us & her bears she was good. I could talk for hours about her strengths and I could never even think of one flaw. Even my son was born with her red hair and even though now it's dirty blonde, it goes to show that we are all a little bit of her. I'm so thankful for the grandparents I was blessed with Nana & grandpa both. Not a day will pass without you in my heart. Thank you for giving up so much for me. Thank you for all those hugs, all the tears you wiped away and all those bears. Thank you for making me a better person and a better mom from having you love me near or far. Today, she became a butterfly.

Sending love and prayers to all the family as they mourn their Mom and Nanna - sooo loved. Maxine was a wonderful sister-in-law and was always so happy and on the go!! She loved life and children for sure and will be missed. We have great memories from many years ago and also the last time she visited us with the family - MINI REUNION IN JULY and had such a great time in the pool and even mastered the huge crocodile and wale in the pool - even the grandkids had trouble getting on, haha. Percy had a long wait and they will be together. LOTS OF LOVE, UNCLE KEN, AUNT CAROL, DAVID, KENNY, TERRY AND FAMILY X0X0 WILL BE THINKING OF THE FAMILY ON WED. ESPECIALLY
