Obituary of David Doyle
David Peter Doyle - The death of David Peter Doyle occurred at St. Joseph’s Hospital on Monday, September 7th, 2015.Born in Saint John on June 12th, 1936, he was the son of the late Charles and Eva (Patterson) Doyle. David was a Veteran and a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 69.He was a plumber for many years, he loved to hunt and fish and enjoyed going for walks with his 4 legged friends and companions.He is survived by his son Scott Doyle of North Carolina, daughters Cindi Doyle of North Carolina, Christina Vicars (Terry), Linda McRae (Dean), Jennifer Synette (Nathan) all of Saint John, brother Robert Doyle, of AB, sister Olive Dunn of NS, 10 grandchildren, 1 great grandson, as well as nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by a brother Steve Doyle, sisters Barb Chipman and Patricia Carson and his common law wife Lorna Clark.Visitation will be held at Castle “Fallsview” Funeral Home on Thursday, September 10 from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 pm. The Royal Canadian Legion will conduct a Legion Service at 7:30 pm, everyone is invited. The funeral service will be held at 9:00 am Friday, September 11th, followed by interment in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.The family would be appreciated donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of NB or St. Joseph’s Hospital.
