Obituary of Barbara Olsen

Olsen, Barbara Ann Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Monday, February 27, 2012. Born in Saint John, NB., she was the daughter of the late William and Barbara McColgan and dear wife to the late Kenneth Olsen. Barbara is survived by her son Mark (Brenda) Olsen; daughters Wendy (Andy) Kinney and Beverly (Rick) Pye; brother Alan McColgan; sister June Marasco; grandchildren Sarah (Jake) Mazerolle, Erin (Craig McInnis) Kinney, Tanya (Greg Moore) Kinney, Jessica (Corey) Brewer, and Emilie and Olivia Olsen; great grandchildren Lilli, Luke, Colton, Cassidy, Keira and Evan, as well as, several nieces and nephews. Resting at Castle “Fallsview” Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Avenue, Saint John West (634-1701) visitation will take place on Thursday, March 01, 2012 from 3-8 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 02, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. from Castle Funeral Home. Interment will be held in Greenwood Cemetery, with her husband, Ken. There will be a reception at the Fallsview Family Reception Center, following the interment. Donations in memory of Barbara can be made to the SPCA-Animal Rescue League or World Vision.
