Obituary of Rhoda Elizabeth Lynch
The death of Rhoda Elizabeth Lynch, widow of Thomas F. Lynch occurred at the Carleton Kirk Nursing Lodge on Saturday January 25, 2014 surrounded by her loving family. Born on December 9, 1932 a daughter of the late Edward and Glady's Pearl (Cullen) Humphrey. Rhoda was predeceased by her parents, husband, brothers, George, Jim, Edward, Norman, and one infant brother, Ronald and one sister, Dawn. She is survived by 5 daughters, Brenda (Steve) Smith, of Rothesay, N.B., Gail (Pat) Leet, of Cole Branch, N.B., Dawn (George) Roberts, of Woodstock, N.B., Margaret Ann (Roger) Reid, and Norma Jean (Mike) Wilson, both of Saint John, N.B., nine Grandchildren, eight Great Grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. At Rhoda's request cremation has taken place, visitation will be held on Monday January 27, 2014 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave. Saint John,N.B. E2M 2L3. A Memorial service will take place on Tuesday January 28, 2014 at St. George's/ St. Jude's Anglican Church at 1:00pm. Interment will take place in Greenwood Cemetery following the service. A reception will be held at St. George's/ St. Jude's church hall. Donations to St. George's/ St. Jude's church or Spina Bifida would be appreciated by the family.
