Obituary of Carole Bartlett
Bartlett, Carole JeannetteIt is with great sadness the family of Carole J. Bartlett wish to announce her passing on Saturday October 3, 2015 at Kennebec Manor after a period of failing health. Born in Saint John she was a daughter of the late Edward L. and Gertrude (Colwell) Bartlett.Carole is survived by her three sons, Mark (Anne) Henderson, of Fredericton, N.B; Chris (Debbie) Henderson, of Saint John; and Shane Murphy (Rod Cole), of Toronto; one daughter, Shelley (Danny) Edison, of Saint John; one brother Robert Bartlett, of Riley Brook, N.B.; five grandchildren, Jeremy, Michael, Jim, Brian, and Tomalyn, and several nieces and nephews.Carole was predeceased by both of her parents, one brother, Fred Bartlett, sister in law, Dorothy Bartlett; sister, Doreen Dykeman; and brother in law Elmer Dykeman.Carole worked as a Lab Tech for the Red Cross, and retired after 25 years of service, she was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion branch#69. She enjoyed cooking for her family and friends, and was an avid Speedskater.Arrangements are entrusted to Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave. Saint John, N.B. (634 1701). Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7, 2015 from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm. A funeral service will be held at Castle "Fallsview" Chapel on Thursday, October 8, 2015 at 10:00am with Rev. Rob.Salloum officiating. Interment will take place in Greenwood cemetery. A reception will follow at Castle "Fallsview" reception center. Donations to the MS society or Kennebec Manor would be appreciated by the family.www.castlefh.com
