To Patty,s family and especially to Brady her special son whom she talked about constantly during our long chats as she was doing my hair..I JUST got this news today and I am so saddenned by this news. I have been a customer of Patty,s since 1985 and during this time we had the opportunity to develop a friendship where we talked about our life, our families etc... Brady, even though I never met you , i feel like I have . During the past 27 yrs , she would proudly show me your baby pictures, yearly school pictures and hockey pictures.. She was always so excited and proud as she told me all about your grades at school, your hockey achievements and all the great things about you that would make her feel so proud . She said you were the best son a mother could ever have.. I am so sorry for your great loss . My hope is that God will fill you with His Love, peace and comfort during this very difficult time. May she rest in peace in the loving arms of Jesus until the day when we get to see her again.. God bless you all,, Louise Stephenson xoxo

We are so very sorry to hear of the loss of such a special lady. Visiting Patti and everyone getting their hair done by Patti was always a a highlight of our trips home to Saint John. She always had the biggest smile on her face whenever we saw her, and that's how we will always remember her. She had a heart of gold and we loved to hear about her beloved Brady, and have been hearing about him since he was a young boy, and now he is graduating from high school. Brady- know you made your mom so very happy, she absolutely lit up whenever she talked about you. We know firsthand how very proud of you she was, and always hold that with you. Many hearts are broken over the loss of such a special soul. Will was so very sad to hear about Patti, he used to joke he had to fly in from California just to get a decent hair cut, and was looking forward to seeing her again soon. Oh Patricia, I always called you that, You both loved and hated it. You were family to my family. You always took care of us. My mom especially. Birthdays, Christmas, Easter, or just a Saturday you always made dinner and we were always invited. When my mom went to Labrador you brought us home cooked meals and took care of us like we were your own kids. You, Brady, my mom and Dustin. every hockey game, every road trip. Thelma and Louise. I hope you know how much we all loved you. You raised Brady to be a kind young man. a dedicated man, showing up to every single game. It's amazing. He's respectful and smart. I hope he never loses the lessons you have taught him. I'm certain he won't, you raised him so well. Be proud, mama You loved meeting my son. I'm sad he'll never get to know you. He'll never see that smile that lights up the whole rink! IWe love you, Patricia xoLove Amber, Luca and Eric

Words cannot begon to express how any of us feel right now. We are all in shock. I am so glad that my life included you. Working alongside you, i saw firsthand what an amazing and truly genuine peraon you were. You always without fail, made sure everyone around you was taken care of...if it included home hair care, meals, or just a friendly visit. While most people would shy away from sickness and death, you devoted your days and nights to ensuring them that they were remembered. I truly believe that God saw your "work" here on earth and needed your help. I will truly miss our chats and visiting you guys on Princess St. May your memory live on through Brady who was raised so well. My thoughts and prayers are with your family and friends as we struggle to make sense of it all.

My heart is completely broken for Brady and the rest of Patti's family and friends. Patti and I were pregnant at the same time and both have an only child, boys! Our boys played hockey against each other since they were very young and I would see Patti at the rink often. Her smile could be seen from across the room. Each time I would see her, she would talk about Brady and her face would light up with pride. He was her everything and my heart is so heavy knowing that some big milestones are coming up for him that she will miss. Patti, I hope you are at peace knowing that you were an incredible mother to him and that he will grow in to an exceptional man because of the guidance and love you gave him. He had almost 18 years of memories with you that will someday make him smile again after the tears during these tough times ahead have dried. Your memoriam shows how you have touched many lives and it is a tremendously sad day to lose such a wonderful woman. I will think of your boy often, and if ever I see him in the years to come, I will speak of you and remind him that his mother's love will never die, as I know he will feel in his heart every day.
