Obituary of Dale Andrew Clinton

Clinton, Dale Andrew It is with great sadness that the family of Dale Clinton of Saint John announce his passing. Dale was a lifelong resident of Saint John and was a graduate of Saint John High School and the University of New Brunswick. In 1991 he began working for the City of Saint John recreation Department where he served in various capacities. In 1999 Dale began his career as a City of Saint John firefighter proudly serving it's citizens with great dedication. Dale also held the position of recording secretary of the Saint John Firefighters Association Local 771, meeting the needs of his fellow Firefighters with tireless service and commitment. Survived by his mother Lynn Doyle (Harold) of Saint John, his brother Chris (Sarah) and their children Grace and Malcolm, Uncle Rob Guthrie (Cherry) and their children Lea May and Stephen, Aunts Marilyn Flewelling (Harvey) and their daughter Meaghan, Kim Guthrie, and Donna Guthrie all of Saint John. Pre deceased by Maternal Grandparents Leamon and Lois Guthrie, Aunt Brenda LeBlanc and faithful canine companion Buck. Dale's loss will be profoundly felt by many. A larger than life personality, Dale left an indelible mark on the many lives he touched and he will be sadly missed by all. Resting at Castle Funeral Home, "Fallsview Chapel", 309 Lancaster Avenue, Saint John West (634-1701) visitation will take place on Thursday, November 22, 2012 and Friday, November 23, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A funeral liturgy will be held on Saturday, November 24, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. from the Cathedral of Immaculate Conception, Waterloo Street. Interment will take place at Greenwood Cemetery. There will be a reception at the Saint John Firefighter's Museum, Sydney Street.
