Obituary of Harold Wilkins
It is with sadness that we announce the death of Harold A. Wilkins of St John St. West who passed away at the Saint John Regional Hospital on April 16, 2013. Born in Saint John on November 1925, he was a son of Reginald and Matilda (Samson) Wilkins.He was predeceased by his wife Doreen Margaret (Wilson) Wilkins, parents and two grandchildren, two brothers and one sister. Harold retired from Saint John Shipbuilding as a Burner. He is survived by four sons, John (Beatrice), of Dartmouth, N.S., Harold Jr. (Tina), of Saint John, Chuck (Susan), of Musquash , Robert (Tara), of Saint John, six daughters, Judy Gourd (Jean-Marie), of Moncton, Dianne Cormier (Donville), Cathy Parsons (John), Bonnie McNeill (Danny), Gloria Wilkins, and Brenda Melvin- Wilkins, all of Saint John, three brothers, Chester Wilkins, Ronald Wilkins, and Douglas Wilkins, all of Saint John, three sisters, Doreen Coggins, and Pat Mason, both of Saint John, and Geraldine Neilson, of Ontario, Several Grandchildren, great grandchildren,and nieces and nephews. Resting at Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave., with visiting on Thursday and Friday from 2to4pm and 6to8pm. The funeral will be held on Saturday April 20, 2013 at 10:00am at Castle “Fallsview” Chapel. Interment will take place in Greenwood Cemetery.
