Obituary of Barry Maguire
It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Barry William Maguire of Duke Street (West), which occurred after a brief illness, on Thursday, July 18, 2013 at the Saint John Regional Hospital at the age of 54. Born in Saint John, N.B. on January 31, 1959, Barry was the son of the late Sidney and Bessie (Wilson) Maguire. He was a graduate of Saint John Vocational School and his work included tending Bar, set-up at Harbour Station and janitorial work. Barry is survived by his sisters Rev. Charlene (John) Macknight, Miramichi, N.B.; Cheryl (Dan) McMahon, Comox, B.C.; Janice (Reg) Flowers, Saint John, N.B.; by his niece Amanda (Aaron) Gates and great niece Sydney, as well as several cousins. Visitation at Castle Funeral Home 309 Lancaster Ave, Saint John N.B. (634-1701) will be held on Sunday from 7-9 p.m. A celebration of Barry’s life will be held on Monday, July 22 at 11:00 a.m. at Fallsview Chapel. Interment will take place at Lorneville cemetery. Reception will be held at Fallsview Reception Center following the interment. Donations may be made to the Lorneville cemetery or the donor's charity of choice.
