Obituary of Madeline Kinney
Mrs. Madeline Emily Kinney passed away peacefully at the Saint John Regional Hospital on January 16, 2014. Born in Washburn Maine on December 14, 1924, a daughter of the late Burt Murchison. Madeline enjoyed knitting and crocheting, there were always plenty of socks, mittens and dish cloths to go around. Madeline is survived by her sons Andrew (Wendy) of Saint John and Danny of Calgary Alberta; 10 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband Wayman Edward Kinney; three daughters Wanda Secord, Roberta Charters and Gerry Goudreau; one son Ronald Kinney; as well as one brother and sister. Madeline was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Resting at Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave. Saint John, NB, E2M 2L3. Visitation will take place on Sunday, January 19, 2014 from 2-8pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, January 20, 2014 at 11:00am from the Castle “Fallsview” Chapel with Eileen Irish officiating. Following the service there will be a reception at the Castle “Fallsview” Reception Center. Donations made to the Cancer Society or to the charity of the donor’s choice would be greatly appreciated by the family. Online condolences can be made at www.castlefh.com
