Obituary of Marion Rose Verner

Verner, Marion – Surrounded by her family, passed away peacefully on December 18, 2014 at Bobby’s Hospice. Born in 1943 she was the daughter of the late Gordon and Viola Marks. Marion will be missed by her children Dawn Lingley of Saint John, NB and Henry (Kimberley) Verner of Brandon, MB; step children Kathy Ogaki of Toronto, ON and Danny Verner of Toronto, ON; brothers Karl Marks of Saint John, NB, Stephen Alexander of Fredericton, NB; sisters Vivian Hachey of Saint John, NB, Connie (John) Wilkins of Saint John, NB, Bev (Stephen) Pevlin of Saint John, NB, 10 grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides her parents Marion was predeceased by husband George Hebert, step-son Ernie Verner and brother Keith Marks. Resting at Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave, Saint John (634-1701). Visitation will be held on Sunday December 21, 2014 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. & 7:00-9:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Rose de Lima Roman Catholic Church on Monday December 22, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
