Obituary of Dawn Corscadden
The death of Mrs. Dawn Elaine (Banks) Corscadden, wife of Gary Corscadden of Rothesay occurred on September 22, 2011 at Bobby’s Hope Hospice. Born in Sussex, N.B., she was the daughter of the late Vaughan and Olive Banks of Harvey Station, N.B., and her adoptive parents, the late Philip and Dawn Gamblin of Coles Island, N.B. Dawn is survived by her husband of 44 years, Gary of Rothesay, their daughters Angela Corscadden of Fall River, N.S. and Shelly (Bill) Donahue of Milltown, N.B., and son Michael (Kelly) Corscadden of Quispamsis, brother Tommy (Jane) Banks of New Maryland, sisters Mavis (Lowell) Banks-Carr of West Oromocto, Gayle Gamblin (Phil Shedd) of Quispamsis, and Carol Gamblin of Coles Island. She was much loved and will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Sean, Scott, Delayne, Wylie, Sarah, Cody, and Taylor, and her many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends and visitors at Castle “Fallsview” Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave., (634-1701) on Monday from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. A Graveside Service will take place on Tuesday at Maces Bay Cemetery on at 12 noon. Following the interment a Time of Fellowship and refreshment will take place at the Maces Bay Seniors Hall. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Dawn to the Maces Bay Cemetery Corporation, Bobby’s Hope Hospice, or the S.P.C.A. would be appreciated by her family.
