On behalf of my mother, Ann Carter, and the whole Carter family I would like to express our deepest sympathies at the news of Malcolm's passing. He was a special friend to my Mom and Dad and did many favours for them over the years. He and Dad shared a special bond with their many years of volunteer service at the Seamen's Mission and their work at Hillcrest. On my visits to Saint John I would accompany them and always enjoyed listening to the two West Siders recall stories of their past.Malcolm's many other favours to them - driving to appointments, making family pictures, etc. will always be remembered with gratitude and love.He was a special man and is probably in Heaven now sitting with my Dad telling how thw West Side grew and changed over the years.
