Obituary of Elizabeth Pilmer
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Mother & best friend Elizabeth Pilmer who passed away at the Saint John Regional Hospital on September 1st, 2015.Elizabeth was born in Limavady, Londonderry, Northern Ireland on July 2nd, 1927 and moved to Canada in 1929.She is predeceased by her husband John Pilmer, son Wilfred, infant son Allen John, brothers Stewart & Bill Dorrans, infant sister Jeannie and parents Hugh and Elizabeth (Kerr) Dorrans. Survived by sons; Rodney (Rosanne) & Allen Pilmer, daughters; Linda & Anna Pilmer, Carolyn (Danny) Aubie, daughter-in-law Wendy, grandchildren; Adam, Joey, Nicole and Shawndelle, several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and beloved pet Andy. With respect to Elizabeth’s wishes a private visitation will be held. The family invites friends to the funeral service to celebrate Elizabeth’s life at Castle “Fallsview” Funeral Home on Friday, September 4th, at 1:00 pm, followed by a reception in the Castle “Fallsview” Reception Center.Donations in Elizabeth’s memory may be made to the Animal Rescue League or a charity of your choice.
