Obituary of Albert Cobham
Cobham, Albert Charles The death of Mr. Albert C. Cobham occurred on Jan. 7, 2011 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. He was born in Saint John on November 10, 1940. Mr. Cobham was a retired longshoreman and a member of ILA Local 273, as well as a member of RCL #2. He is survived by his wife Loretta A. (Irvine) Cobham, daughters; Leanne (Gary) Bursey, Saint John, and Terrie (Glen) Noble, Fort MacMurray, granddaughter Stephanie Bursey, siblings Norma Justason, Edward (Elizabeth) Cobham, Joanne (Bernie) Krall, Barbara Ferron, Tommy (Pauline) Cobham, Donnie (Helen) Cobham, Patsy (Ozzie) Guimond and Wesley (Patsi) Cobham, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father Frank, daughter Leisa, and sister Pam Cobham. Resting at Castle “Fallsview” Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave. (634-1701). Visitation will take place on Monday from 2 – 9 p.m. The RCL will hold a Tribute Service on Monday at 7 p.m. The funeral service will take place on Tuesday at 1 pm from Castle “Fallsview” Funeral Home Chapel. A reception will take place at RCL #2 following the service. A private family interment will take place at Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery.
