I am Ivan 's sister, children of Leonide Bordage who was Camille's father's first cousin. Growing up in Saint John meant that we would see Camille at times along with his parents and family. I use to hear about Camille through other cousins and even my Dad who lives in a Moncton Nursing Home. Please accept our condolences on your lost!

As a second cousin Camille is remembered as having a special charm and joie d'vivre. Our father's were first cousins from Acadieville, and worked together as carpenters in St. John early in their life together. Later they renewed their relationship when all parties retired in the Moncton- Bouctouche area. About 10 years ago, when both partners lost their respective mates, (Leonide Bordage) dad and Cecile became close companions for a time, bringing the family to a new level of intimacy. This family was always so gracious and kind to our father, and we often heard updates about Camille's projects. I believe dad visited Camille's home/cottage with Cecile on several occasions and spoke highly of Camille's accomplishments. The death of Camille is a loss that is acutely felt by his family and the community. He leaves us with a legacy of good memories. My sympathy to all of you.

Janet & Family, Regretfully, I am unable to make it to the funeral. Please know that I am thinking of you.Honestly, I didn't know Camille very well. We may have only exchanged a 'hello' or two since he walked into your lives. However, the countless kind words said about Camille confirms what a loving, wise and genuine man I always imagined him to be. I was pleasantly surprised to hear coworkers at the newspaper speak so positively about him. It takes no effort at all to see Camille was cherished by his family, and those around him. I send my deepest condolences. If there is anything you need, please don't hesitate to ask.John

My deepest condolences to you and your family. Camille was the perfect neighbour and more importantly a great friend. I will miss the evening "happy hours" we would share and the conversations we had as we watched the sun dip behind the tree across the park we lived in. I will cherish the memories I have of him over the short few years we've known each other. I am truly and deeply sorry for your loss.

I want to express my condolences to the entire family for the loss of Camille, who was a great friend of mine back in our Saint John days. I am sorting through my memories of the times we shared and the things in which we were involved like Loyalist Days and Saint John Ski Shows.....From Sugarloaf to Amqui Quebec we carved a lot of turns. I am glad he lived and enjoyed life so large, and sad he is now gone.

My heartfelt sympathies to Janet , Laura, Christina, Elliott. You should know, everytime I talked to him he filled me in on what was new with all of you. To Gilles and Lori, Rachel, I cant imagine the hurt at losing your brother. I pray that God will bring his peace and comfort to all of you at this difficult time. Camille was a friend throughout the ages, and though we didnt see each other much it was always easy to pick up where we left off whenever we talked. We met on a ski trip, we cemented the friendship for eternity on Alward street, and we kept up with one another for the next 30 years. I cant believe he's gone. He could light up a room with his energy and enthusiasm. He shared the latest in music innovation with Thelma Houstons "Ive Got The Music In Me" special edition direct to disc audiophile, which we must have listened to 1000 times. He cooked most of our meals when he found out fiddleheads and baked potatoes were the only two things I could cook. He was passionate about everything he did and he did a lot of things. This is a sad time, I hope everyone will find joy in the special memories they shared with this unique and remarkable man. Camille, I love you, rest in peace my friend.

Our parents, Eloi and Roseline, and their five daughters, Claudine, Monique, Marcia, myself, Marcella, and Jacinthe wish to extend our sincere condolences to Rachel and Gilles in the loss of a very loved nephew and cousin. We also wish to extend our condolences to his wife, his children and his many friends. As Rachel and Gilles can attest, the Bordage grandparents, Antoine and Marguerite, had thirteen children who in turn had many many children who were born into this warm and loving family. A family to would help each other in times of need and also be present during happy moments, like the birth of a child, weddings, family reunions, etc. This past weekend I spend all my time with Mom and Dad in Aldouane to help them make sense of the loss of a nephew. They talked at great length about Camille and how they loved him, respected him and though so highly of him and accomplishments. So to all his immediate family, our hearts are broken over your loss and our loss and please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you during these painful times. Marcella on Behalf of Mom, Dad and my sisters.

Hi Janet, Rachel, Gillis, Pepper and families: So sorry, really sorry to hear this news. Although not bosom buddies, Camille and I (not so much my spouse Joanne who only met him in recent years) have shared a lot of time together, mainly in past lives, with past mates...we had best friends girl-friends years ago and party'd and did a few ski trips together. Always fun, including one time at Squaw Mountain Maine, where I had stopped, mid- way down a main trail, only to watch Camille come along behind me and miss a turn, resulting in an unplanned trip into the woods adjacent the trail....no injuries and only fodder for post ski chuckles.....he had an infectous smile....and laugh as you all know. He visited me numerous times in my early Wine-Kitz ownership days in Quispamsis. But it was only after he'd begun his own winery venture that he told me "Peter, every time I was in your store, I was a bit envious as it was what I'd long thought about doing as a new venture". Cheers to Camille. He did indeed, begin and enjoy his own beer and wine-making store(s) which brought him tons of satisfaction and enjoyment. He lived life to it's fullest, met and made instant friends with many, and always remembered his heritage.....great expectations but no regrets....nice way to be remembered !! See you someday, in the airtop vineyards. Peter LeBlanc (and Joanne Abbott)
