Obituary of Mary Mazerolle Daigle

Mazerolle Daigle, Mary “Alice” Passed away on Friday, May 04, 2012 at Rocmaura Nursing Home. Born on April 22, 1917, she was the daughter of the late Theodore and Leona (Doucette) Guimond. Alice lived in Saint John since 1958, she was member of the Assumption Church, the French Society and the Fundy Swingers Dance Group. She is survived by her son, Maurice (Mary Critelli) Mazerolle; son-in-law, Nazaire Daigle; sisters, Eva Daigle, Bertha Blanchard, Jeanette Mazerolle and Rita Legere; brothers, Ernest, Tim and Edgar; four grandsons, Kevin, Jamie, Samuel and Nicholas and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husbands, Nazaire Mazerolle and Lionel Daigle and daughter, Rita Daigle. Resting at Castle Funeral Home, “Fallsview Chapel”, 309 Lancaster Avenue, Saint John West (634-1701) visitation will take place on Saturday, May 05, 2012 from 7-9 p.m. and Sunday, May 06, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday, May 07, 2012 at 12:00 p.m. from Our Lady of the Assumption Church. Interment to follow in Holy Cross Cemetery. There will be a reception at the Assumption Center following the service. Donations, in memory of Alice, may be made as Mass Cards presented to Our Lady of the Assumption Church.
