Obituary of Fayette "Faye" Corscadden

The death of Mrs. Fayette “Faye” Corscadden, wife of Edgar Corscadden of Saint John East occurred on November 15, 2010 with her family by her side at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John on July 5, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Mary (McIvor) Cosman. She is survived by her loving husband of fifty-seven years Edgar and the loving mother of her daughter Kathy (Bill) Callum, Saint John, her three sons; Larry (Beth) Cosrcadden, Fredericton, David (Nancy) Corscadden, Edmonton, and Tom (Cyndi) Corscadden, Calgary. Faye was the proud grandmother to Sean, Laura, Alex, Melissa, Amanda, and Holly, and great-grandmother to Carter. Faye is also survived by her two sisters Betty Ryder, Saint John, and Doreen Harricott, Dartmouth, N.S. and her brother Larry Cosman, Brampton, Ont., several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by by two brothers Kenneth and Jack Cosman. Resting at Castle “Fallsview” Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave., Saint John West (634-1701). Visitation will take place on Wednesday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. The funeral service will take place on Thursday at 2 p.m. from St. Mary and St. Bartholomew’s Church, 648 Westmoreland Road. Private interment will take place in Maces Bay Cemetery. Donations in memory of Faye to a charity of the donor‘s choice would be appreciated by her family.
