Obituary of Marilyn Morrison

Morrison, Marilyn Louise The death of Marilyn Louise (Knox) Morrison, beloved wife of David H. Morrison, occurred unexpectedly at home, Thursday, October 27, 2011. Born in Chipman, NB., she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Edith Knox and step-father, Elery Burpee. Marilyn was a wonderful homemaker who enjoyed her time with her children, grandchildren and most recent great grandchild. She was a member of RCL Branch #2 and spent a few years in her earlier days working in the kitchen at Centracare. In addition to her loving husband David, Marilyn is survived by her son Matthew (Tanya) Glenn and daughter Kim (Dave) Haines, all of Saint John, NB.; step children Daniel, Dwayne, David, Darryl and Cindy; grandchildren Jessica, Robyn, Natalie, Madison, Meghan, Alicia, Jonathan and Kayla; great grandson Charlie; brothers Arthur Knox and Wayne Burpee; sisters Anita Murray and Marjorie Fernandes; as well as several nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, Marilyn was predeceased by her son Doug, baby brother Ronald and her sister Loretta. Arrangements have been entrusted to Castle Funeral Home, “Fallsview Chapel”, 309 Lancaster Avenue, Saint John West, (634-1701) where visitation will be held Sunday, October 30, 2011 and Monday October 31, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held from “Fallsview” Chapel on Tuesday November 1, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will take place in Ocean View Memorial Gardens which will be immediately followed by a reception at the Fallsview Family Reception Center.
