Hello,Just learned of Rose's passing from my sister Patricia in Saint John, who was sick at the time and could not attend the service. She used to be best friends with Joanie. And I have great memories spending so much of my youth at the Doherty's house .. their camp as well. Two of my closest friends as a kid were Paul and Harry. Mrs. Doherty, as I referred to her back then of course, was always so friendly and welcoming to me ... an extremely nice lady, and I can still smell her delicious freshly-made chocolate chip cookies while walking up their steps .. I wish my very best to her family.

Please accept my sincere sympathy on her passing. I received a lovely Christmas card from Rose this past Christmas. I hope you will find comfort in the many good memories you have of happy times spent together, Marie (Calgary, Alberta)

I had the privilege of working with Rose when she served on the Board of the Saint John Harbour Bridge Authority. Her energy and enthusiasm were always an inspiration to me. She attended to her duties in a no nonsense professional way always treating others with respect and dignity. She was a remarkable woman who loved her Family and served her fellow citizens as a tireless volunteer. Such delight to know and work with. The world would be a better place if we had more people who gave of themselves like Rose. My condolences to the Family. Thank you Rose for all you did!
