Obituary of Alice Fleurette Bissett
Bissett, Alice Fleurette (Linton) Passed away on Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on May 22, 1936, in Fairville. She was the daughter of the late Ronald and Dorina (Vautour) Linton. Loving wife of Paul Bissett. Alice graduated from Saint John School of Nursing in 1957 and worked as an RN at the Saint John General, St. Joseph’s, DVA and Dr. Roberts hospitals and Mount Pleasant Group Home. She was the owner of Dorine’s Flower Center on Westfield Road, formerly in Lancaster Mall. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and a member of the Aged to Perfection Steel Band. Besides her husband, she is survived by her sons, Michael W. F. Bissett (Joanne) and Larry A. Linton (Stacey); daughter, Alison L. Guimond (Roger); five grandchildren; one great grandchild; two step grandchildren; one step great grandchild and several nieces and nephews. Arrangements have been entrusted to Castle Funeral Home, “Fallsview Chapel”, 309 Lancaster Avenue, Saint John West (634-1701) there will be a funeral service on Saturday, November 17, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. from Castle Funeral Home. Interment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery, at a later date. There will be a reception at the Denis Morris Community Center, following the service.
