Obituary of Sheila Maguire
It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Sheila Maguire on Sunday December 13, 2015 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born January 23, 1940 she was the daughter of the late Logan and Florence “Brownie” Sears. Sheila was a member of the “Saints Rest Dog Walkers” group and enjoyed gardening, bird watching and listening to music. Sheila loved and cared for her family very much. Sheila will be sadly missed by daughter Faye (Mark) Finnigan of Saint John; sons David (April) Maguire of Moncton, NB, Scott (Lilian Viana) Maguire of Boca Raton, FL; Craig (Luc) Maguire of Saint John, NB; sisters Margaret Empey-Sears and Christina Sears both of Saint John; brother Ted (Nancy) Sears of St. Martins; grandchildren Aidan, Logan and Mason. Besides her parents, Sheila was predeceased by husband Harmon J.B. Maguire. Arrangements are under the care of Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave, Saint John (634-1701). Visitation will be held on Tuesday December 15, 2015 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm & Wednesday December 16, 2015 from 2:00 - 4:00 pm & 6:00 - 8:00 pm. A Memorial Service will be held at Castle Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday December 17, 2015 at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Cedar Hill Extension. Donations in Sheila’s memory can be made to SPCA Animal Rescue League or Canadian Cancer Society.
