Obituary of Mary "Jane" DesRoches

DesRoches, Mary “Jane” Patricia The death of Mary “Jane” DesRoches of Lower Greenwich, occurred on Thursday, April 21, 2011 at Bobby’s Hope Hospice. Born in Saint John, NB, she was the daughter of the late Bertha Louise (Holmes) and John Leo DesRoches. She was a homemaker in her later years and also worked as a travel agent as well as a school bus driver. She is survived by her twins, Joshua and Rosa Pimentel; son, Andrew Pimentel, of Mississauga, Ont; daughter, Jennifer DesRoches; brother, Eugene (Bonnie) DesRoches of Fredericton, NB; six sisters, Theresa LeBlanc, Angela Levesque, Mary (Alyre) Bordage, Yvette McKiel, Joanne (Rheal) Comeau, all of Saint John, NB and Denise (Bill Melvin), DesRoches of Lower Greenwich and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sister Marie and brother, Norman. Resting at Castle “Fallsview” Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave, Saint John West, (634-1701) visitation will take place on Tuesday, April 26, 2011 from 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 27, 2011 from Castle Fallsview Chapel Funeral Home at 11 a.m. Following the service a reception will follow at the Fallsview Family Reception Center. Donations in memory of Jane to Bobby’s Hope House would be appreciated by her family. Jane’s family would like to thank the 5th floor Oncology staff, Dr. Reiman at the Saint John Regional Hospital, and also the nurses and staff at Bobby’s Hope House who provided a loving and caring environment for Jane.
