Obituary of James Hannah
It is with broken hearts that the family of James Hannah announce his passing on August 17th, 2022, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Simon (Saint John) NB, he was the son of Leo and Edna Hannah.
James was a hardworking, dedicated, and trustworthy man. He worked for many years with Day & Ross as a package and delivery truck driver. His shared his love for being on the road with his only son John, leading him to also work for the same company. James adored his family and would always put them first. James made sure to instill his morals and values in his son to ensure he grew up to be successful.
James is survived by his loving son John; brother Joseph; sister Patricia; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He is predeceased by his wife of 56 years Barbara; parents Leo and Edna; and sisters Leona and Florence.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Castle Fallsview Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave, Saint John, NB (634-1701). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, August 24th at 1:00 PM at Cedar Hill Extension. Donations in James’s memory can be made to the Saint John Animal Rescue, or charity of your choice.
