My deepest condolences to Marion "Mom" for the sudden passing of your dear son Doug; and to his siblings, extended family and numerous special friends whom he shared special times with.
As a co-worker with Doug at the Delta. he was on top of his game! He spoke highly of "Mom", family and friends sharing stories and laughs along the way. He was always there for each of us giving us sound advice or just leading us in the right direction.
Raising children with high values - you have exceeded! The best gift in life is to give love and be loved! Wow!
Rest in Peace Doug!

To Doug's family especially your mom: I first encountered Doug as we were both EM at the Assumption on Saturday nights . He was also there every week for your mom to make sure she received communion when he came up for her as she sat at the last row in church . Doug held many hands but now you need to hold onto his memories in your heart. May you now join those who went before you and may they open their arms to greet you. E.M.s. So sorry to hear of Doug's passing. He was one of my Scout leaders at Assumption / St. Patrick's Cubs and scouts many years ago. Always level headed and could build anything with the minimum materials on hand. The best landlord you could ask for. Nothing seemed to phase him. A real family man with a humble personality and quite demeanor.
Condolences to the entire Enman family from Nicole and I and our two boys. God bless and may he rest in peace.

To Marion and the rest of the Enman family
It was heartbreaking to hear of Doug's passing. I still can't believe he won't be pulling up to the house in his grey pickup truck always so willing to lend a helping hand. He was in fact the best landlord I have ever had and one of the kindest people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. While the rest of society looks for praise and notoriety for their accomplishments, Doug just went about this world doing great things in his quiet unassuming way to improve people's lives and make this world a better place. The world lost a great man and heaven gained a beautiful angel.
Thinking of you all at this difficult time.

My condolences is being sent to all of Doug’s family.
We had a conversation just two weeks ago where Doug told me how strong and agile his mom was. He sure loved his family! We shared great dialogue on many many topics over the 8 years we worked together in Brunswick Square. He always was so very kind and such an intelligent being and a person one could always rely on. So happy to have known Doug and I will miss him. Cathy Lifford

Doug was more than just our facilities manager. He was a mentor, an advisor, a friend, a leader, and someone that you could depend on. I had the honor of working with Doug for 15 years at the Delta Saint John and I am so grateful for the time that I got to spend with him.
I want to express my deepest condolences to Doug’s family and friends. I know we won’t see Doug every day, but we can still feel his present in the work he did at the hotel and from the precious memories we have of him.
Rest in peace Doug.

We first want to express our deepest condolences to the entire Enman family. I (Paulette) had the privilege of working with Doug for 27 years. He was the heart of the hotel, so very reliable, knowledgeable, kind, and generous and someone I had the privilege to call my friend. Both my husband (Rick) and I got to know Doug on a personal level and admired him so very much.
Some might say Doug was shy, but he was not shy about how much he loved his family. We were blessed that he shared stories about his special Mom along with his brothers and sisters.
Doug was ALWAYS someone you could turn to/count on. He was a wealth of knowledge and had a heart of gold. He’s going to be so missed by all but never forgotten. He’s made and left an impression that will last forever.
God bless you Doug and may you rest in peace eternally.
With love,
Paulette and Rick Hicks

Doug and I first worked together in 1983 at Brunswick Square. We then worked together for 10 years at the Delta Brunswick. He was one of the kindest, gentlest souls I have ever met. You always felt at ease with Doug and he had such a great dry sense of humour.
He has done so much for so many and he will be greatly missed here on earth. Take comfort in knowing it was a privilege knowing him and that he is now in God's arms with his family.
Our deepest condolences to the Enman family. We lost a good one

Doug was one of the nicest people I know. Over the last 20-30 years I would usually see Doug at the Delta or at Kent. We would sit or stand and talk for what seemed like hours. Doug could always make me laugh and usually answer any questions I would throw at him. I can truly say I will miss him and the world has lost a great man. Sending my deepest sympathies to all that had the pleasure of knowing him.
