Obituary of Dora Shirley Archer

The family of Dora Shirley Archer sadly announce her sudden passing on Friday, May 13, 2022 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Dora was born February 16, 1937 to the late Judson and Mabel Hutchins in Saint John, NB.

Dora will be dearly missed by her children Mark Archer and Michele Britten (Rodney), grandchildren: Adam and Geoffrey Archer, sister in law Betty Arseneau, special niece Lorna Jeffery and many nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her parents, husband Douglas Archer, brother Charlie, sister Pearl, three infant sisters, infant granddaughter Stephanie Britten and much-loved niece Joan McNeill.

Arrangements are under the care of Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave, Saint John, NB E2M 2L3, 506-634-1701. A Graveside Service will be held at a later date in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery. Donations in Dora’s memory can be made to the SPCA or a charity of the donor’s choice.
