Brenda and I were so saddened to hear of Janis’s passing. We worked together at Zellers in Montreal in the 80’s. After moving away in 1987 we still looked forward to Janis’s yearly and loving family updates and with Brenda and I replying and sharing what was new in our lives. Truly a special person who will be missed. Rest In Peace dear Janis.

Janis and I worked together for many years at Zellers. Even played on the bowling league. We would always joke about being the Janis with the "i s" and I being one of the other ones spelt with "ice. It was interesting when the janis/ces worked on the same floor.
Remember her fondly, condolences to the family

Janis was a friend of our family for many years. Also I worked with her at Zellers in Montreal. Along with her participation in the Church choir and other Church functions. Janis shared a birthday with our son. Janis was a wonderful family friend for many years and we have missed her in the past few years when she was in her 'own personal world'.

Janis and I became friends at Graham Business College in 1969, and after a few years at different companies, found ourselves both working at Zellers head office in the mid 70s. We always kept in touch over the years as we went on separate paths, especially on birthdays and other special occasions. I am saddened to learn of her passing and extend my sincere condolences. May she Rest In Peace.

I am deeply saddened by this news. Janis and I kept in touch over many years since we worked together at Zellers. She even had honoured me with singing at my wedding many years ago. Please accept my heartfelt condolences. May she rest in eternal peace.

Please accept our heartfelt condolences at Janis’ passing. My memories go back to Sargant’s Bay starting the late ‘50s. Much later, we recall the springtime visits with Janis on Drummond St. where we would go shopping and at the same time, deliver boxes of maple syrup from the Townships for her and her colleagues at Reitman’s. Janis always prepared a wonderful dinner for us. She leaves us with fond memories.

Dear Cathy, Chris, and the Connor family. My deepest sympathy on the loss of your sister. As I read about your sister Cathy, I noticed how much you look alike. It has been many years since we have been in contact. This was shared with me by a mutual friend. I know you will miss your sister. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

To the Connor family,
We are saddened to read of Janis' passing. John & I have great memories of Janis and all of you who were in
our classes at Drummondville High. We did reconnect with Janis when she lived in Saint John, NB and through
updates in her Christmas cards; then lost contact. Our sincere thoughts are with you at this time.

My deepest condolences to the entire Connor family. While we have never met, I feel I know you because Janis spoke so fondly and often about all of you.
I met her at Reitmans where she made such an impact on so many people. She genuinely cared about all her friends and would go to great lengths to help them in any way she could. Janis will be a lasting part of my memories and I know that is shared by many others.

Joan Craig, staff on 7th floor St. Joes Hospital.
My dear friend Janice, so glad you are in a quite place now.
Our floor will not be the same without you, we will all miss you.
I will miss our chats, your great smile and laugh, our love of music and how you knew I had a terrible singing voice but sang to you anyway. How you followed me everywhere on the floor with your walker and wheelchair. Oh how you loved your treats that your family and friends always kept you stocked with.
You taught me patients through your illness, kindness because that is just you, and most of all you let us be part of your family.
Rest in peace sweet lady, and remember I love you as a friend.
