Obituary of Mark Anthony Cosgrove

It is with great sadness that the family of Mark Anthony Cosgrove announces his sudden passing at home on Wednesday, November 24, 2021. Mark was born on June 13, 1971, to Daniel and Suzanne (Merchant) Cosgrove in Saint John, NB. 

Mark was a life-long westsider, he worked at the Royal Canadian Legion, branch #69. Mark loved sports.  He enjoyed watching his nephew play hockey and was very proud of him. Mark also helped coach Lancaster Little League Baseball with his brother. 

Mark is survived by his parents, Danny and Suzanne, brother Brian Cosgrove (Roberta), nieces Danielle and Serena and nephew Jackson. 

Arrangements are under the care of Castle ‘Fallsview’ Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Avenue, Saint John, NB E2M 2L3, 506-634-1701. Visitation will be held on Monday, November 29 from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM- 8:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held from Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at 10:00 AM. Interment will be held at a later date. Due to Covid-19 health measures placed on indoor gatherings by the Government of New Brunswick, all of those, 12 and over, attending the Visitation and Funeral Mass will be required to show proof of vaccination and a piece of government issued ID, or proof of medical exemption
